The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is a National Historic Landmark. Climb aboard the historic narrow-gauge Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad which operates in the scenic landscapes of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. Renowned for its breathtaking mountain vistas and vintage steam locomotives, the railroad offers an immersive journey back in time to the late 19th century, when railroads played a crucial role in connecting remote regions.
Stretching 64 miles of rugged terrain between Antonito CO, and Chama, NM, the C&TSRR railroad provides guests with a unique opportunity to experience the Old West while traversing through deep canyons, across high trestles, and alongside rivers.
The 2024 train season runs from May 25th through October 19th. Offering day trips six days a week, short express trips, dinner trains, geology trains, 4th of July firework train, and much more! All full day rides include a delicious hot lunch at the scenic midway point, Osier Station. Select from three classes of service first-class Parlor Car, café style Deluxe Car, or our Classic Coach car.
